- How to apply
-
Admission
If you plan to study in Korea, you MUST apply for a student visa at an overseas Korean embassy or consulate. OIA of ITC provides students who plan entrance and completed tuition payment with 'Certificate of Admission' and the information of required documents for D-2(study) visa issuance.
Return to College
After taking time off, students returning to college also need a 'Certificate of Admission' to reissue the student visa. Please get in touch with OIA to proceed with related procedures at least two months before starting school.
- Extension of Visa
- If your student visa expires before completing your program, you should apply for a visa extension at the Incheon immigration office. You may pay a fine unless you apply it within the expiration date. OIA provides an application to extend the period of stay through electronic civil service on behalf of international students.
- Residence Card
- All ITC students without Korean nationality should receive their 'Residence Card' to be legally qualified to stay in Korea. OIA has provided a guideline to get your residence card without complication. There would be strict restrictions on staying in Korea and changing visas unless your registration is delayed or remain unfulfilled without just reason.
- Report of change of Registration Information
-
Students who had the residence card should report any change in the registration information to the Incheon immigration office or nearby administrative center within 14 days of the date such change occurs. Failure to report within the deadline is a violation of Korean immigration law and results in a fine.
